General Information
The Records Management Office serves the district by tracking all Gilmer County Schools records (administrative & campus records) from their creation to their disposal. While maintaining Gilmer County Schools records, the staff researches the information and retrieves records for departments, schools, and the public as needed.
No phone, email or fax requests are accepted.
No same day service is available.
Please note the information below:
- Per Records Management procedures, requests will be processed within 2 to 5 business days of receipt. Due to the high volume of requests and vast amount of records this is not always possible.
- Requests for information must be completed online and will be processed on normal business days during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM).

You will receive a confirmation email when your request is received. Once your order has been processed by the Registrar, you will receive an email confirmation. If the record you are requesting is not available, you will receive an email denying the order with details about the problem.

All requests will be checked for accuracy. Any inaccurate information may result in your record not being processed. All communication with regard to your order, payment, our progress, and the records delivery will be sent via email.
ELECTRONIC RECORD VERIFICATION
If you received an electronic record, you can verify the validity of the student record by visiting the Verify Credentials link.
- SAT scores may be requested from College Board or by calling 866-756-7346.
- ACT scores may be requested from ACT or by calling 319-337-1270.
